When is the surf season in Morocco?
The main surf season is from October to April, when Atlantic storms send big, regular swell. You can surf all year: in summer the waves are smaller and softer.
What is the best month to learn to surf in Morocco?
From May to October the waves are smaller and the water warmer, which is perfect for beginners. With lessons on the right beach, you can learn in any month.
What is the water temperature in Morocco?
Around Agadir and Taghazout the sea is about 17 to 18°C from December to April, 18 to 20°C in May and June, and 20 to 22°C from July to November.
Which wetsuit do I need?
A 4/3 full wetsuit from December to April and a 3/2 from June to November. In May, a 4/3 early in the month and a 3/2 later. Wetsuits are included in our surf packages.
When is it less crowded?
May and June are the quietest months. From December to February the famous point breaks can be busy on good days.
