Fourteen colourful rooms around a patio full of plants, a rooftop cinema under the stars, sunset dinners under the reed roof and a pool table for the evenings. Private for one, two or three, or shared with other surfers.
Each room has its own unique vibe, designed with different colors inspired in different nature treats. All of them are open all year to everyone, surfers or not. Come for a weekend or a month, to rest, work, explore the region or join any activity you like.

Warm clay walls that glow at the end of the day, a brass lantern throwing lace shadows, soft coral linen. Made for slow mornings and long evenings.

Deep green walls, a mosaic lamp and soft wool throws. The coolest place to come back to after a day of sun.

The house
Surf Chill Vibe lives inside a family riad in the centre of Tamraght, one of Morocco's best-known surf towns, with private rooms featuring their own terrace or bathroom. We welcome travellers all year round: surfers, families, couples, remote workers and groups of any size.
Surfing is one option, never an obligation. Take a lesson, or spend the day in Paradise Valley, on a camel in the dunes, at the souk in Agadir or in Essaouira's médina. Evenings belong to the rooftop, a tagine and the people you met that day.

Nous étions 11 adultes et 1 enfant de 2 ans. Berta nous avait réservé un taxi depuis l'aéroport : très pratique ! Les chambres étaient spacieuses, 2 d'entre elles disposaient d'une grande terrasse, et il y avait une grande terrasse sur le toit avec des chaises longues et des banquettes, offrant une vue sur la mer. Au choix, le petit-déjeuner est servi le matin et un repas marocain traditionnel (couscous ou tajine, entre autres) le soir. Berta a été très flexible et serviable : un seul message et une excursion avec transport était organisée. Dar-Andalus se trouve à une demi-heure de marche de l'océan, où nous sommes allés souvent. En bref : une hôtesse très agréable, un séjour plaisant, de magnifiques vacances (mais pas si vous êtes habitué à un environnement 4 étoiles et au luxe).

Nous avons loué le Riad en entier, et nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le Riad est confortable, très bien placé (accès aux commerces ou restaurants à pied) et la ville de Tamraght est idéale : pas trop touristique, près d’Agadir, près de Taghazout… Le Riad est bien aménagé, joliment décoré, Saadia est une vraie pépite, elle est venue nous faire les petits-déjeuners tous les matins, et se faire réveiller par l’odeur des pancakes va me manquer… Tout était vraiment très propre. Je recommande ce logement 🫶

Notre séjour fut parfait. Le logement dispose d'un excellent emplacement, au milieu de la ville. Les petits commerces sont accessibles à pied. La plage est accessible à pied ainsi qu'en voiture. La communication avec la propriétaire a très bien fonctionné et nous avons toujours reçu une réponse en quelques minutes. Le logement est fortement recommandé pour les grandes familles ou les groupes, en raison du grand nombre de chambres et de salles de bains. La terrasse sur le toit était notre point fort. Nous reviendrions à coup sûr.

Nous avons passé un super séjour ! Berta a été extrêmement réactive, serviable et proactive tout au long du séjour : elle a organisé les taxis, le petit déjeuner et s'est adaptée à notre grand groupe de 11 voyageurs. Sadia, la gouvernante, a également été très accueillante et chaleureuse. Le riad est idéalement situé, près de la plage et des restaurants, et également à quelques pas de l'arrêt d'autobus, où vous pouvez prendre le bus pour les villes voisines. Je recommande vivement de séjourner chez Berta.

From your first pop-up on the sand to your first unbroken wave. This is how a week on our 7-Day Surf & Explore Trip usually goes for someone who has never stood on a board.
Results depend on the waves and on you, but most of our beginners ride green waves by the end of the week.

Our 7-Night Surf Week starts at €480 per person, with 6 days of lessons and all meals, and the 7-Day Surf & Explore Trip at €655. Both include airport transfers, your bed at the riad, surf lessons, all surf material and trips. Prefer to build your own? The trip builder shows the price of every night, meal and activity as you choose.
No. Sending a request is free. We check availability for your dates, reply by email, and then agree the next steps with you.
Airport transfers both ways, your nights at the riad, surf lessons with local instructors (6 days on the Surf Week, 4 days on the Surf & Explore Trip), boards and wetsuits whenever you want them, breakfasts, lunches, transport to the spots and the trips listed in each package. Dinners are included in the Surf Week; on the other trips they are easy to add at the riad for €12.
Yes, most of our guests are beginners. You start on sandy beach breaks with soft boards and a coach, and our first-week plan above shows how people usually progress.
You should be comfortable in the sea, but you don't need to be a strong swimmer. You always wear a leash, and coaches choose safe, sandy spots for beginners.
Board and wetsuit rental from €12 a day, guiding to the right spot for the swell, a surf trip to Imsouane's long wave, and a photo and video session to see your surfing.
You can surf all year. October to April brings the most swell for improvers, while late spring and summer have softer waves that are ideal for beginners. Check our live surf report for the current conditions.
The drive takes about 45 minutes. Transfers are included in our packages; if you build your own trip, pick-up or drop-off costs €30 per car of up to 4 people.
Of course. Many guests travel solo, and a shared room at the riad is the easiest way to meet people from the first evening.
Big Moroccan breakfasts on the rooftop, lunches at the beach or at the riad, and home-cooked dinners like tagine, couscous or fresh fish. Tell us about any diet or allergy when you book.
Yes. Every package can be upgraded to a private room, and in the trip builder a private room costs €48 a night instead of €20 for a shared room.
